Our new 'Keeping-in-Touch' club
We have started a new project as we continue with our blogging journey … it is called the Keeping-In-Touch Club. We have found out the names of all the new immigrants to our school in the last year, whether they be refugees from other parts of Africa, or families that have moved to South Africa for work purposes. The class has linked with each one, and is helping them to create and maintain blogs in the hope that this will enable them to keep in touch with their extended family and friends back in their original countries.

Hello. This is Allison from FHPS. I really liked the pictures on the blog and I enjoyed listeniung to the reading. It was really fun. I want to come back next time and look around some more. It is so much fun to explore this blog.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really good idea to keep people in touch with where they're from. We've got students in our class from the Phillipines and Cambodia and they love using the internet to keep in touch. We also have some students at our school that are from the Congo and they are enjoying the experience of being in New Zealand but also need to keep in touch with others. Really like your blog by the way a lot of work has gone into it and nice to find a great South African Blog!
