We achieved writing a three-nation collaborative story before the end of the Canadian school year an the mid year holidays for Argentina and South Africa! Here is an example of one of our stories. (We used the amazing programme Etherpad for our collaboration).

Miss. Fiona, if you and your class are ever planning to doing another collaborative writing assignment could you drop me a line on my blog? I just graduated, so I'm no longer part of Mr. Millward's class, but I would love to be a part of it again. It is a wonderful way to get to know people through their writing styles, and have someone to correct you when you are wrong.

I enjoyed reading some of the stories that my fellow classmates did, and I would like to know if you could possibly put one or two of the others on your class blog. Whoever did the entry for the story I was given is an amazing writer! (I lost the name, but the story was about flowers and a treasure box.) It was a great beginning for me to expand on and make into something even bigger! Together, we can write amazing things. (And I'm talking in general there!!)

    Thank-you Miss Fiona,

KCG , Mr. Millward's Class in Canada (kcg2009.edublogs.org or just click on my avatar!)

    Good Job Writers!!!! :)

  8. Hi Mrs. Beal!
Your class sure does look like fun!? I would leap at the chance to write a three-way collaborative story with kids from other country in school any day. Have fun on your mid-year holidays!
